Providence Wellbeing is a specialist occupational therapy practice providing:

  • Evidence-based mental health care under Medicare mental health care plans;

  • Occupational Therapy services and assessments for plan managed and self-managed NDIS participants living with mental health problems/psychosocial disability, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual/cognitive disability and acquired brain injury.

  • Occupational therapy functional assessments to support initial access to the NDIS and in support of NDIS plan reviews;

  • Clinical supervision and continuing professional development training for Occupational Therapists and other mental health professionals (including registered psychologists/clinical psychologists, social workers, mental health nurses, counsellors, psychotherapists, peer workers and others).

Providence Wellbeing is led by Moses Costigan, Moses is an experienced specialist mental health occupational therapist who has almost fifteen years experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families experiencing a broad range of mental health challenges including: anxiety disorders; depression and bipolar disorder; eating disorders; psychosis; substance use issues; personality disorders and intellectual/cognitive disabilities.

Moses is committed to providing therapy that works using a range of evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy and dialectical behaviour therapy. In addition to his experience as a clinician, Moses has extensive experience providing clinical supervision and mentoring to occupational therapists and other mental health professionals and has previously held academic appointments in the occupational therapy programs at The University of Newcastle and Charles Sturt University.
